Digger Dan is the premier provider of demolition services throughout Utica, NY and surrounding areas including Rome, New York Mills, Whitesboro, Marcy, Frankfort and Oriskany. We have access to heavy equipment and other resources to legally and safely perform the demolition of homes and buildings. As a family-owned and operated business, we take pride in providing personalized customer service. We will get the job done in a timely manner that will meet or exceed your expectations.

Prior to any dismantling, we will notify all gas, cable, water and electric companies so they can arrange for their services to be sealed. Adjacent neighbors will also be notified before demolition work begins and any disruption will be minimalized as much as possible during the work. Construction fences and other barriers will be used if warranted in work areas.

A variety of heavy duty equipment is used in the demolition and debris removal process. Our excavators range in size to include a 40,000 lb. John Deere, a 50,000 lb. Kobelco and for larger work, we use a 90,000 lb. Caterpiller 235. If required for large industrial jobs, we will occasionally sub out some work to other trusted and insured sub-contractors whom we have worked with in the past. The goal being to perform the work safely, efficiently, economically and within the time frames in the agreement. In these cases, Dan Caruso is always on-site and personally manages the teams and is fully responsible for their work.

Other in-house equipment at our disposal include an 18,000 lb. bulldozer, a rubber tired tractor / loader / backhoe, a Mack roll-off truck, a Western Star truck / tractor with a 35 ton lowboy trailer and several sized containers. Most jobs including residential home and small building demolition is handled by Digger Dan himself.
